Vienna's Easter markets

The popular Easter markets are an integral part of springtime in Vienna: March 24–April 9, 2012. Visit the Easter market in front of Schönbrunn Palace and enjoy - besides handcraft and culinary delights – the imperial ambience. A little bit more homelike is the traditional Viennese Easter market on the Freyung. Here 40.000 colored Easter eggs will form Europe's largest mountain of eggs. Exhibition "Klimt - Drawings"

March 14–June 10, 2012. In celebration of Gustav Klimt's birthday 150 years ago, Vienna comprehensively recognises the artist: In the exhibition "Klimt - Drawings" the Albertina presents the majority of works in its acclaimed collection of 170 drawings by Klimt. Vienna Spring Festival

March 2–May 13, 2012. During springtime in Vienna music is in the air: The Vienna Spring Festival was founded in 1992 and offers an exquisite program with many international artists.
