Exhibition: „Frida Kahlo. Retrospective“

September 1–December 5, 2010. With 70 paintings and 30 drawings as well as photographic documents the Bank Austria Kunstforum presents the most comprehensive exhibition of the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo ever shown in Austria. Kahlo’s oeuvre forms one of the most complex chapters in history of art during the inter-war period, between Neue Sachlichkeit (new objectivity) and surrealism. (www.bankaustria- kunstforum.at)

September 15–November 15. The campaign "Vienna, Wine & Design" presents Vienna as a city with an appreciable wine-growing industry and interesting design. It includes wine tastings, vineyard walks and a lot more. In a big competition many pleasurable prizes regarding the topic of wine are waiting to be won.
